Admission to Master of Science programmes starting in September/October (1st semester) is open to graduates who by the end of July will earn a recognized degree, at least at the Bachelor level, or will have completed the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits (gained in a minimum period of 3 years) at a recognized institution.
For programmes starting in February/March (2nd semester) the admission to Master of Science programmes is open to graduates who by the end of December will earn a recognized degree at least at the Bachelor level, or will have completed the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits (gained in a minimum period of 3 years) at a recognized institution.
MINIMUM GPA REQUIREMENTS BY COUNTRY:
Foreign students, who want to apply to Master of Science programmes, have to meet the minimum GPA requirements as shown in the table:
If your country is not listed, we don’t ask you for any specific entry requirements at the moment. The list here published reflects the list of the countries from where the Politecnico di Milano receives the majority of its foreign students applications.
IMPORTANT: In case your schooling years prior to university are only 10, your bachelor diploma should be at least of 5 years, if your schooling years prior to university are 11, the bachelor diploma should last at least 4 years.
The general rule is that the total years of high school + bachelor or equivalent before the possible admission to one of the Politecnico di Milano Master courses, should not be less than 15 years.
Kindly note that the schooling years must be clearly mentioned on the Declaration of Value issued by the Italian Diplomatic Representation in the country where you have completed your studies.
