Scholarships for the Academic Year 2013-2014
Thanks to the cooperation with public and private partners, every year Politecnico di Milano offers a number of merit based scholarships to the most talented international candidates admitted to a Master of Science programme starting during the 1st semester of the academic year. Students obtaining a scholarship will have to pay only an administrative fee of about €200.
The majority of scholarships available will be awarded to students applying in the first call for 1st semester of each academic year. Students applying in the second call will be considered for the remaining scholarships.
For the Academic year 2013-2014, all the admitted students with a complete dossier (language certificate included) will be automatically considered for the available merit based scholarships (there is no separate application for scholarships).
The relevant scholarships calls will be published by February 2013.
PLATINUM scholarship
worth 10.000€ gross per year + tuition fees waiver. The amount of the scholarship will cover accommodation costs at one of Politecnico student residence, the remaining amount (after taxation) will be given as cash pocket money. The student will only have to pay an administrative fee.
GOLD scholarship
worth 5.000€ per year + tuition fees waiver. The amount of the scholarship will cover accommodation costs at one of Politecnico student residence, the remaining amount (after taxation) will be given as cash pocket money. The student will only have to pay an administrative fee.
SILVER scholarship
corresponding to a tuition fee waiver, covers the total amount of fees for the academic year. The student will only have to pay an administrative fee.
The number of Platinum, Gold and Silver scholarships awarded varies from year to year, a small number of Platinum scholarships and a larger number of Gold and Silver scholarships are available.
Scholarships Assignment criteria:
The selection criteria are based on the evaluation of your previous education and its match with the prerequisites of our M.Sc. programmes. Obviously GPA (grade point average) and academic achievements (including the portfolio when requested) are of utmost importance. Last but not least a well written motivation letter will highly contribute to a positive decision by the Scholarship Awarding Committee.
Politecnico di Milano allocates every year Student Aid Benefits dedicated both to students already enrolled (Current students) in one of the Politecnico di Milano programmes and to students intending to enroll (Prospective students).
