Number of Credits and university fees

When filling out your study plan you can insert a minimum of 30 ECTS credits to a maximum of 80 ECTS credits. The amount of the second instalment of the university fees will be calculated on the basis of the number of credits, as shown in the pdf below.

The tuition fees for each academic year are divided in two instalments. The first instalment must be paid upon enrolment, the second within the beginning of May (the exact date is published “payment deadline" section of this website as soon as available). The due amount must be entirely paid and cannot be divided in further installments.

1^st instalment is fixed on  842,20€

2^nd instalment  is calculated on the basis of family income, to be attested through the ISEEU declaration and on the number of credits (CFU/ECTS) requested in the Study plan (see table here following). A standard yearly study plan is made up of a number of credits between 46 to 73 CFU, which corresponds to 100% of the tuition due. Students who for any reason request lower or higher number of credits will pay according to the number of credits required, according to the tables you can find at the following link: http://www.polimi.it/studenti/guide/, then select the document called "guida tasse laurea" and go to page 19 (the information is written in Italian only)
