Objectives

The workshop offers a collective artistic experience that enables participants to follow the design and construction process of works featured during Light Art. The projects will be developed during laboratories following the suggestions and instructions provided during the seminars by visiting professors and the artists invited.  The workshop will end with an exhibition of the works displayed in the Chiostrino di Santa Eufemia, a historical cloister located in the city center of Como.

 Calendar

The seminars will be held in Como at the Polo Territoriale of Politecnico di Milano (via Natta 14), while the laboratories will be open at the adjacent Chiostrino di Santa Eufemia.

Certification

Participants will receive a workshop participation certificate from Politecnico di Milano. Students of Politecnico and Accademia di Brera taking part in the workshop will receive 5 University Formative Credits.

Cost

1,700 € (includes course fee, room and board)

Intended participants

The course is intended for students, graduates, professionals and anyone interested in applying knowledge of the expressive character of light to lighting installations.   

Admission criteria

Interview and portfolio. Up to 20 candidates will be admitted to attend the workshop.

The workshop will take place with a minimum of 10 persons enrolled.
