What?

A series of intensive higher learning courses featuring:

  • unconventional academic formats (tours, laboratory experiences, hands-on activities, cultural meetings, corporate testimonies, cooking classes...);
  • a short schedule (roughly between 1 and 6 weeks);
  • a multidisciplinary approach;
  • an international focus (experiences abroad, meetings with foreign students and professors from other universities, courses preferably, but not exclusively, taught in English);
  • ECTS credit points (where possible).

Where?

The Summer Schools of Politecnico di Milano takes place in Como, a city renowned for its natural and artistic heritage, as well as for its two sectors of Italian excellence (textiles/clothing and wood/furniture). The courses are held in prestigious venues such as Palazzo Natta (in the city’s historical center) and in historical villas overlooking Lake Como (Villa Olmo, Villa del Grumello, Isola Comacina, Villa Erba, Villa Vigoni).

Who?

The courses are aimed at students and young graduates from Italy and abroad and, in some cases, at specific professional figures.
