The Double Degree agreement between Politecnico di Milano - Scuola di Ingegneria dei Sistemi (II School of Engineering) - and the TONGJI University – School of Economics & Management (SEM) – allows Italian students who are enrolled in the first year of the Master of Science programme in Management Engineering, to apply for the double Master of Science Degree in the fields of economics and management.
All the courses at the partner university are held in English.

Mobility scheme

• 1st year (Politecnico di Milano): during the first year students will attend the courses at the Politecnico di Milano, getting the credits planned by the study course
• 2nd year (TONGJI - SEM): during the second year selected students will study at the Tongji –SEM getting the credits planned by the study course
• An additional semester (Politecnico di Milano): after students’ staying at the Tongji University, an additional semester to prepare their thesis at the Politecnico di Milano is foreseen. At the end, students will be awarded the double Master of Science degree in Management Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano and the Master of Management Science at the TONGJI-SEM.

The thesis

The final thesis must be written in English and submitted to both institutions.

Tongji entrance requirements

At the end of the first year, in order to enter the partner university, students who will be pre-selected in March will have to fulfill the following academic conditions:

1. having obtained 60 CFU (credits) of the first year of the Management Engineering Master of Science
2. have a minimum average of 25.75/30.
