What is a Person Code, what is it used for?

The Person Code is a code which allows you to use the on-line services of the Politecnico di Milano and to access all your past and current careers at our University (for example, if you are a student enrolled in a Master of Science, using the same code you can also choose to view your Bachelor of Science career). It has eight digits and it is indicated on the back of your Policard (the new generation university badge with payWave function).
Once you have requested activation it is used together with a password.

How can I recover the password associated with the Person Code?

In case you lose your password go to the Online Services section.

What is the TCC (Telephone Counter Code)?

This is a numeric code which, when associated with the Person Code, you can use to identify yourself on the Registrar’s Office toll-free number (telephone counter) to obtain information of a personal nature.

How can I recover my TCC?

Directly through the Online Services in the personal page under the DATA section > "Telephone Counter Code". You can generate as many as you like.

Why do I need to indicate a personal e-mail address different from my institutional address?

Because in case you lose your password, you can ask for another directly via the "Password recovery" function in the Online Services. The new password will be sent directly to your personal e-mail address without the need to go to Registrar’s Office.
Furthermore, using the "Personal e-mail management" function, you can activate redirection in order to receive personal e-mails in your institutional mail box.

Do I still need my identification number?

The identification number is used to choose which data to view of your current or previous career.
