Civil, Environmental and Land Management Engineering
Mission and goals
The Bachelor of Science deals with structural design within a vision of responsible land exploitation and environmental preservation. The educational programme comprises courses typical of environmental engineering together with those typical of the civil engineer. The programme therefore provides a broad spectrum of basic training allowing subsequent specialisation both in the field of Environmental and Land Planning Engineering and in Civil Engineering.
The graduate in Civil and Environmental Engineering can operate as a civil servant in Public Administrations or as an employee in private companies in all those Civil Engineering, Construction or Environmental sectors in which land and rock, structures, transport, hydraulics are involved as well as in the areas of surveying for land or civil protection.
Possible further education
Subject to evaluation of their curriculum, graduates in Civil and Environmental Engineering can continue their studies in related fields such as Civil Engineering, Environmental and Land Planning Engineering, Civil Engineering for Risk Mitigation. With admission always subject to an evaluation, graduates may choose other Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) programmes or 1st level Specializing Masters.
