Name:  Rajendra
Programme: Master of Science in Architecture

Why did you choose your programme?
Since from my first knowledge of architecture, I was always taught about being ITALY as mother land of concept of architecture start from ancient. After I graduated from Chandigarh, India. I was always dreaming for being in Italy to see around and to get feel of architecture. And studying in Italy was the best way to realise the architecture of this country.

What do you think are the best aspects of the programme?
The best point for this course is its diversity of culture in terms of course contents and selection of subject, which are very well suited as per the international standard of any reputed university. Though, the course contents were still having Italian roots, but the standards are more global. I feel the course contents are one of the best amalgamations of Italian concept with the International mixture. So at any point of the course, one does not feel untouched with the global world development. Regarding the teaching methods and type of study are concern, it is very well managed by eminent teachers and professionals which make the study more professionally specialised rather only academics curriculum.

What is the nationality and background of the other students on the programme?
We have different nationalities culture in terms of students from every part of world. We have students from all continents, from South America to Asia, Europe, which influenced the study with more cultural exchange in the knowledge and study methods.

What did you gain from studying alongside your fellow students?
I am always adopting the way of different kind of study methods and culture, by the means of working in the group of students from different countries. The teaching methods are more flexible and focused on the subject specific, so I am fully able to cope up with the work assigned in the course. In case of difficulties the availabilities of expert professors make the problem easy.

What extracurricular activities do you take part in?
The cultural activities of this university are always lively, which I am always involved in. Regular visits of historical site, cities, parties are the part of university extra curriculum activities. Where I felt great to involve with. I feel the extra cultural activities at Politecnico make the students more attentive towards the outside world. And such activities are one of the best options for international students, to make them feel and analyse the world culture in fun way. These activities act as platform to give cultural exchange from one nationality to other.

What did you gain from studying alongside your fellow students?
The over all experience in this course during my one year stay makes me more mature in terms of professional upliftment and personality development. I would be proud to call my self alumni of this university. Which I recommend to other also to be part of it.

How do you think obtaining a postgraduate degree will help your future career development?
Soon after my post graduation qualification, I am sure of being more professionally mature which would make my self more competitive in today’s throat-cut competitive world of profession. I feel my qualification and personality would be groomed up to that level to stay ahead in the profession. I am planning to work for some good organisation In Italy. I may look forward to stay little bit more in terms of academic up-gradation of myself, with enrolment in Phd. Course in Italy or other part of the world, depending on the thesis topic of my current course

Why would you recommend the programme to others?
I would recommend any one who decides for the academic interest in Italy for architecture. He/she would find very competitative and international standards of study in Politecnico Di Milano in terms of history of country and its background and current race with the globalisation. This makes alumni of Politecnico, as per international standards.
